How Long have you been with Perfect Balance Accounting?
I have been with Perfect Balance Accounting since February 2014.  I was one of Laura’s first employees when she was at the Bankers Rd. location.

Do you have a specialty?
Individual taxes is my specialty, but I also work with corporate taxes, payroll, and occasionally bookkeeping.

How many years of experience do you have in this field/position?
I started learning tax laws and preparing individual taxes for H&R Block when my son was young.  Preparing taxes has kept me employed many years.

What other types of jobs have you had?
I have worked several types of jobs in my past.  Some of my past jobs have been factory assembly, bank auditor, accountant/tax preparer.

 Education
— Bachelor of Science in Finance from University of Wisconsin – Parkside.

Other Certifications, or Continued Learning?
— Yearly tax update classes attended.

Family
Married for 29 years to Kurt. We have two children Sarah, 21 and Erik, 27. We also have a dog named Sadie.  She is a 7-year-old Terrier mix.

What are some of your hobbies?
Bike riding, travel, shopping, eating out and trying different ethnic restaurants, cooking, enjoying time with friends and family.

Residence
We have lived in Racine for over 20 years.

Do you volunteer or work with any particular charity or organization?
I volunteer at a weekly food distribution for Feeding America and a local church.
